Asian-Americans Choose Obamacare in California
A report from the San Jose Mercury News says Asian-Americans rank among the highest signees of the Affordable Care Act in California. Around 23 percent of the 700,000 registrations to the state’s healthcare network were Asian-American, as of February 28. Considering the Asian-American population in California is just below 18 percent, this large registration number represents a combination of familiarity with government organizations, community outreach programs and, perhaps, greater income and education levels, on average, according to portions of the article.
