Murdered Love, P.O.D.

P.O.D. returns with its blend of metal guitar barrages and Christian worship in their latest album in several years, Murdered Love. Playable on Death’s lead vocalist, Sonny Sandoval, is Pacific Islander-American, specifically of Hawaiian and Chamorro descent.

DVDs

Adventure Time: The Complete First Season, Cartoon Network

Adventure Time follows the, well, adventures of unflappable Finn and magical doggy older brother, Jake, as they make their way through the Land of Ooo. Airing on Cartoon Network, this show garnered its cult following by being from the same cut of sassy smart humor as The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack and Daria.

American Reunion, Universal

John Cho is the only Asian American in this fourth film in the American Pie canon. While this iteration sees the gang deep in the thralls of married (or unmarried) life with children, old habits die hard. Expect crazy bathroom humor with a touch of sentiment.
