Jason Wu Sells Fast for Target
Fashion designer Jason Wu, notable for being a favorite of first lady Michelle Obama, among others, released a line for Target over the weekend that flew from shelves and online.
Wu rose to fame as finalist in the 2008 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund, according to his website, and was nominated for a 2011 CFDA/Swarovski Award for Accessory Design.
At Target.com, only a few pieces from his collection remained online at the time of this article. Searching near Dumpling’s headquarters in Cleveland, a few stores had “limited stock” of select merchandise, which retailed between $15 and $100.
